Aaron Gaynor, our founder and CEO, started his journey right after high school. School wasn’t easy for him—he struggled with dyslexia, and his principal even told him to quit. But Aaron didn’t give up. By the age of 23, he had obtained his contractor’s license and launched his first business. When the 2007 financial crash hit, his commercial plumbing work dried up, and he had to declare bankruptcy.
Instead of folding, Aaron rolled up his sleeves and learned what it really takes to run a business. With support from a small, trusted team (including his sister, Roslyn), he borrowed just $50 and started a new residential plumbing company. After training in eco-friendly plumbing techniques, Aaron brought in things like tankless water heater installation & maintenance near Chillicothe, OH, and WaterSense products. That’s when the company became The Eco Plumbers.
