October marks National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and each year, the Eco Plumbers team wears pink through the month of October to show our support for the cause and to help spread awareness about early detection and prevention.
This year, the cause hits a little closer to home for the Eco Plumbers family as we show our support for Mary Jo Kennedy, the mother of two of our Eco techs, Adam and Charles Kennedy. Mary Jo was recently diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, and is now cancer-free because she caught the disease early. Adam and Charles share why this month is so important to them.
“This month is important because it brings awareness to the many people fighting breast cancer,” said Charles. “Since my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, I appreciate life and my time with my family more.”
“Knowing that my mom had cancer has made me open my eyes and realize that I shouldn’t take life for granted and always live life to the fullest,” said Adam.
As we kick off this Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we extend our support to our extended The Eco Plumbers family and all of the survivors who have faced breast cancer.
